Hello. I'm Daniel.
I'm a psychotherapist with 15 years of experience. My style is laid back, creative, philosophical, and humorous - but as any of my colleagues or clients will tell you, I am laser-focused on clinical outcomes.

I am grateful to work with wonderful people everyday, for the opportunity to earn your trust, and be a part of your growth. Let's connect.

Therapeutic Approach
Clients can expect to develop diverse and practical coping skills and a working knowledge of best practices and modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based techniques. We will be solution-focused. We will also ensure wellbeing fundamentals are intact (e.g. sleep, diet, exercise, social wellness, etc).
Getting Started

Community Involvement
Beyond my private practice, here are a few organizations and companies with which I am currently involved.
Emory University School of Medicine
Emory University's School of Medicine provides first year medical students a groundbreaking opportunity to learn from practicing mental health professionals and engage in frontline experiences through the Community Learning and Social Medicine course. Our current cohort is working on a social wellness program with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's Strong4Life program.
Vessel Wellness
Vessel provides live and virtual groups for teens and young adults focusing on enhancing social wellness and life skills. The curriculum was developed and refined over several years, in part, with the Emory University CLSM course. In addition to enhancing social wellness, participants learn essential mental health, goal setting, and life skills. VesselWellness.com
Komuso Design
Have you ever seen those cool "anxiety whistles" around town, on TV, or online? I co-invented The Shift and co-founded Komuso Design with the wonderful team in 2014. Now, we're creating a range of content and products to help people develop an increased understanding and mastery of breathwork, mindfulness, and anxiety management.
